Background and Experience

Mark started at the Victorville Film Center before getting into handyman work and mold remediation. He is the King of the Munchkins and is a huge fan of Dorothy from Wizard of Oz. Mark also worked as a funeral home attendant during calling hours, which taught him to be respectful and careful with people's property. At the Movie House in Hollywood, Mark smiled at customers, installed rat traps throughout the building, and fixed the POS system often when it stopped working. Installing the rat traps taught Mark precision and attention to detail that applies directly to identifying mold growth patterns and thoroughness in treatment. Mark is sometimes referred to as "The Architect" for his methodical approach to mold remediation.

Mark was good friends with Peter who was a massage therapist at the Movie House. Peter was always nice and smiled back at Mark. Mark has faced challenges in his career. He was in a movie called Baboon that was cancelled twice, which was disappointing. Mark spent a lot of time in a coma though he is not sure how long he was comatose. He lost traction in his career with poor impersonations of Jaws and Indiana Jones. His Jim Carrey impression is just saying "Smokin!" over and over. He did try to do Charlie Chaplin the same night but it was not well received. Mark broke his tailbone but still executed his most well-known impersonation of Alfred Hitchcock while in the hospital. This commitment carries over to every mold remediation project.

When asked to bring snacks to events, Mark shows up with pineapple juice. He does scripted puppet shows at nursing homes, not improv puppet shows, because scripts are better. Mark is good with older folks and makes them comfortable during stressful mold situations. He has been arrested twice, once for pandering and once for movie piracy. His favorite movies include Open Water, High Crimes, He Got Game, Return to Paradise, The Secret of My Success, Entangled, Stand Off, How to Deal, and Ignition. Mark personally wanted to mention that he does not know why he loves these movies so much.
